Description

  • Shocks are an important component of a truck’s suspension system. They take the “beating” from road instabilities and keep vehicles grounded. Driving with bad shocks can be uncomfortable for drivers and create unpredictable accidents during the long-haul trip.
  • This black Gabriel shock absorber is part of the Fleetline 85000 Series for Class 6-8 trucks. It is designed to fit Neoplan bus and Freightliner Legacy vehicles. Its unique design provides increased fluid capacity and cooler operation in extreme conditions. Additionally, this 85000 series shock features D.O.M. (Drawn-Over-Mandrel) tubing to reduce internal wear as well as forged solid steel eye rings and 360 degree arc-welded end mounts to reduce end mount failures. It contains a dust tube and recoil cutoff. It has a rebound of 857 pounds and a compression of 144 pounds. It contains a 1-5/8 inch bore size and a stroke measurement of 9.16 inches. Lastly, it has compressed to extended length measurements of 14.36 inches to 23.52 inches.
  • Gabriel Fleetline shocks come with a 12 month or 100,000 mile warranty.
  • In 1907, Gabriel invented the original automotive shock absorber; and they continue to be one of the most trusted names in the industry for quality shocks.
